Mprn
On this page
A UK gas supply's number: 6 to 10 digits.
Use it to switch or identify a gas supply. For electricity, use Mpan.
Shape
One value, held as text in one set form, with no parts: 9876543210.
Example
Mprn("1234567")Mprn(raw) checks the text, and text that isn't one breaks the format rule.
text.parse(raw, as: Mprn) reads one from text that comes from outside. Text that isn't one at all fails malformed, such as 12345, 12345678901 or 12 34567.
Good to know
==tells you whether two are the same.<andlist.sort_bydon't take it.- A field that holds one counts as personal data (
contact), so you don't mark it yourself.
In JSON
A string, in a request, a response or json.write:
"1234567""9876543210"
