About standard types
How standard types are named, and what is left out A standard type's name says exactly what it is, and a type you might look for may be part of another or left for your app to define.
What every standard type can do Every standard type comes with the same baseline of operations, so once you know how one type is built, read, sent, stored and shown, you know them all.
How a standard value is sent, stored and shown A standard value keeps its currency, unit and precision wherever it goes into or out of your program.
Packages use the standard types When you declare a type with the same shape as a standard type, the compiler reports the error
Changing a standard type's encoding Upgrading Jadpo never makes your stored data unreadable.
A release that adds a standard type When a Jadpo upgrade adds a standard type with a name your app already uses for a type of its own, your app never breaks silently.
